The climb from Charavane moves through real forest rather than a manicured path, which is part of why it stays quiet compared to Goa's beach-facing attractions.

The trail climbs from Charavane village through dense forest cover, with steep inclines and rough, scrabbly terrain for stretches of the route. It sits inside Mhadei Wildlife Sanctuary, so trail access and any seasonal closures follow current Goa Forest Department rules.
