A Morning on Kodachadri

The plateau was fogged in completely by 6 a.m. - nobody expected to see anything. Then, in about four minutes, the whole ridge cleared and the sea appeared on the horizon like it had been there the entire time, waiting for us to notice.

Nobody said much. A few photos, mostly just standing there. That's usually how the best mornings on this trail go - quiet, and over faster than you'd like.
