Wrappers, peels, tissue - all of it goes back in your bag, not into the undergrowth.

Stay on the trail

Shortcutting switchbacks erodes soil and damages regrowth that takes years to recover.

Keep it quiet

Loud music and shouting travel further than you'd think, and this is wildlife habitat first, trekking route second.

Water sources are shared

Don't wash soap or sunscreen directly into streams - these are drinking sources for people and animals downstream.
